Sinopse
The purpose of this research is to propose a new metric to measure the Concavity degree of a curve in a real interval, in the plane, considering specific conditions
over the reference range.
Curvature, for example, associates a real number with the property inherent to the deviation that a curve makes at a certain point in its Domain, in relation to a referential (for better support in this regard, we will consider a section for discussion, in present study, later). Through this number, we can get a solid idea about how far the curve curves at the considered point.
The question that arises is:
To what extent is a curve Concave or Convex, in a specific range of its Domain?.
