Sinopse

As in a flashback movie, the author saw his life being like the “prodigal son” in the parable Jesus told his disciples and is registered in Luke 15:11-32. The core of the message was, “Are you ready to go back home or will you keep wandering around the world until there is no turn back?” In his mind, he answered that question by saying, “But I have already accepted you as my Savior, and I hope to be in His company when it is all over.” To which He replied, “Which of the two sons do you think you are at this moment? The one who repented and returned home empty, or the one who remains in the house full of resentment and pride?” Meditating on this last question, the author then devoted himself to read more attentively that passage for many times. Suddenly, something seems different. He found himself walking in the same shoes of Adam, far away from home, both stories mingled. Thus, this narrative was born. The saga of Adam. An ordinary person, with an ordinary life, who decided to risk living in a more exciting and fortunate way, abandoning the protection and comfort of a quiet life, exchanging it for ephemeral pleasures.
